HCT Front Splitter Installation
Place cupped washer into long bolt. Make sure the cupped portion is cupping the bolt hex head. Run the bolt with the washer through the splitter’s vertical slot. The washer’s larger surface side should be touching the vertical slot. Using the mounting tube’s large rectangular end, slide the mounting tube through the bolt and onto the back side of the splitter’s vertical slot. In some cases, you may need to thread the long bolt into the mounting tube (rather than just sliding it through, due to a tight fit). An electric hex driver is helpful here.

Finally, hand screw the long bolt into the original plastic bumper mount piece, but do not fully tighten yet. Repeat the entire process for the other long bolt, cupped washer, and mounting tube. Once both bolts are screwed loosely into the plastic bumper mount, adjust the vertical height of the splitter to the desired position, then tighten the bolts for a secure fit. Do not over tighten or you WILL strip the plastic bumper mounting holes!

Yeah Racing Installation
If you're installing the HCT Front Splitter onto the Yeah Racing aluminum shock tower, use the HCT YR Mounting Tubes parts. Start with mounting the HCT YR tubes over the Yeah Racing thread extensions.

Then pretty much the same instructions as above by inserting the bolts AND cupped washers through the vertical slots. But in this case, you'll want to use a dab of thread lock to secure the bolts into the thread of the Yeah Racing aluminum receiver holes (I prefer removable orange thread lock). Make sure to not over-tighten the bolts into the Yeah Racing receiver holes or they WILL strip!

General Installation Tips For All Parts
- Some parts may still have some support tree remnants. Using needle nose pliers can pluck those stray strands off the main part.
- You can also sand down the parts to make them smooth, but be aware that it may lighten or dull the sanded area as compared to the rest of the part if you don't plan on painting them (I didn't paint any of the black parts and kept them bare).
- If a bolt needs to get through a stubborn hole, a hole reamer, a micro rat tail file, or even a simple hex driver may be all that's needed to make the hole larger for the bolt.
- Some of the large flat surfaces with speckled/rough texture may have residual hot bed adhesion glue residue still on them. If you want to remove that slightly sticky surface, simply clean it with warm water and a micro dot of dish soap (and a soft green Brillo pad can be used to help get the residue off faster).
