HCT Front Splitter

Front splitter with mounting posts and required hex hardware. Vertical height of splitter can be adjusted.

Note: This splitter does not come with the magnetic hardware that fits in the magnet wells of the splitter. For the complete magnetic system, you’ll need to either buy the full kit or the rear magnetic body post part, which comes with all of the necessary magnets and hardware for fully magnetized body connection. No drilling is required, simply bolts into existing chassis parts.

Note: If you’re using the Yeah Racing front aluminum shock tower, you’ll also need the optional HCT YR mounting tubes for proper fitment.

Note: Because of the length and width of this splitter, the front corners of the splitter may scrape on the ground when driving into aggressive turns, especially if the car is set with a low ride height.

Tips: Some parts may still have some support tree remnants. Using needle nose pliers can pluck those stray strands off the main part. You can also sand down the parts to make them smooth, but be aware that it may lighten or dull the sanded area as compared to the rest of the part if you don't plan on painting them (I didn't paint any of the black parts and kept them bare). If a bolt needs to get through a stubborn hole, a hole reamer or even a simple hex driver may be all that's needed to make the hole larger for the bolt. Some of the large flat surfaces with speckled/rough texture may have residual hot bed adhesion glue residue still on them. If you want to remove that slightly sticky surface, simply clean it with warm water and a micro dot of dish soap (and a soft green Brillo pad can be used to help get the residue off faster).

Attention: Please be advised that the HCT aero parts (splitter, wing, diffuser, side skirts) are more for aesthetics than that of actual performance gains. While they might introduce some small amount of aerodynamic gains, it's unlikely that it would be of significant measure in a race situation. Also be cautious that because these aero parts are somewhat extrusive from the car's body, that it introduces added risk of breakage if it collides with another object or if the car flips over. Like with any RC car, please drive carefully!
