What’s this store all about? A note from the lone dude doing all this.

Not what I was expecting, but here we are, flying by the seat of my pants! I’ve been in the RC hobby for 40 years and I never guessed in a million years I’d be fabricating RC parts to sell! My Tamiya Honda City Turbo Senna Edition video on YouTube took off like wildfire with countless people asking if the parts I fabricated were for sale. 

I built the HCT parts, refined them, created packaging, took a ton of product photos, built this Shopify store, bought a ton of materials, hardware, tools, and machines to build these parts, did a bunch of back-end work (my old server web-coding days are coming back to haunt me), wrote a bunch of stuff about the parts, and here we are. Wow. WAYYYYYY more work involved to sell these parts than I had ever expected!

First and foremost, I’m an RC hobbyist. I do RC as a hobby purely for enjoyment and as a stress reliever for better mental health. And it works! But like most people, I have an actual day job (I’ve been a professional in my career for 34 years now!), so I can’t commit 100% of my time to these parts. I’ve noticed too that starting this little store has caused a major impact in my ability to create content on YouTube. In short, I can only do so many things at once, not even mentioning taking time for family and home life. 

I’m going to do my best to re-stock parts as they become sold out. But please keep in mind that because I’m only one dude doing all of this, I’m not going to have the freight train power and speed as a big manufacturing company with many people dedicated to each job task. 

I’m still figuring out all of this as I go. It’s been a huge departure from the normal RC time I partake in with building, customizing, bashing, and racing (I haven’t raced in months at this point!). So please be patient with me as I do this one-man operation.

But more than anything, thank you again for your interest in these parts. It means the world to me!
